I cleaned the medallion that I purchased from Value village. It was covered in ni****ne and smutz. I tried isopropyl alcohol which didn't work well. I landed up having to soak the tassles and rub softly with dawn and water. One strand broke but I repaired it after cleaning the beads.

Finished! They turned out so cute! Pink and purple to signify her parents.

I couldn't leave it behind so I went back to the thrift store and took it home. Im giung to try and figure out how to gently clean the fringe which is crusty and then put it into a shadow box.
