Is it just me, or does the right lighting change EVERYTHING?…

Been trying to find some lights for the dining room to go with the new colour vibe and design and it’s been hard.

However I came across these doughnut shape glass lights from in a Brown/Bronze colour and thought they were different. Giving a cozy glow, they really help the moods of the kitchen.

What do you think? Do you like bright lights in the kitchen diner or would you have a soft cozy glow?

Will they stay who knows, I am on the hunt still for the wow factor but for now I love these. 🤎

Been so hanging today after a night out at a masked ball last night. Somehow my glass kept being full everytime I looked . 🤣 To say I feel a little jaded today is an understatement 😳

Anyway not done much at all. It’s been my daughter’s birthday so birthday celebrations this morning with a chilled afternoon. I hope you’ve had a good day .

The moment before…

The socks 🧦 🤣

And you think the socks was bad… try sorting your daughters bikinis and holiday clothes after she sorted for Vinted 😳

Anyway bed is now clear of bikinis, cover ups, and definitely socks. 🤣

I’m not stressed, I’m not stressed 😩

Two days to go till bed arrives .. whoop whoop. Can’t wait cause sleeping on the floor on a mattress really isn’t comfy.

Kitchen Inspiration for upcoming change…🤎

Between ChatGPT , Instagram and Pinterest I’ve finally decided on the kitchen design.

As you may know, I’ve melted one of my kitchen cupboard doors with a steam cleaner and need to change the kitchen doors. Unfortunately cause our kitchen cupboards are white, and 13 years old, the colour difference of replacing one door is going to be too noticeable and we can’t paint them as they are high gloss so yes we have to replace the doors. 😳 but it’s a lot cheaper replacing the doors then redesigning the whole thing.

So as our kitchen is in two parts, kitchen and then dining room, we will reveal in two parts. The first part will be the dining area with exciting panels going up from Cheshire Mouldings and Howdens that we won a while back, with new marble panels going along side, then the kitchen side to be done by replacing the doors from Howdens in walnut colour. Mixing with black I’m hoping it will come together.

I am looking for a black marble splash back so if anyone knows where I can get a good splash back from that would be great. I’m trying to do on a budget so if you know of a hack also please let me know.😊

Anyway I can’t wait for all this to come together so I can chill at Christmas into next year 🤣

Stay tuned over the coming weeks to see how we’re getting on. Lionel I’ve been told has to stay 😳 so hoping he will go.
