Flossie&Bean, Ashby de la Zouch (2026)

I have always loved arts and crafts! As a little girl, I loved to draw and as I got older I tried to have at least one creative and crafty project a year around my day job (such as painting pumpkins, découpaging advent calendars, making Christmas stockings and many more!). Whilst heavily pregnant and nesting during lockdown, I turned to craft to keep me relaxed and to come up with something specia

l and unique for my little one's nursery. I decided to try my hand at punch needle embroidery and bought a kit and away I went. Before long, I was hooked and even after Leo's arrival, I found myself sketching out designs and making more hoops during nap times. Not content with confining myself to creating characters for his safari-themed nursery, I carried on creating more designs and started making hoops for friends and family and then decided to set up Flossie & Bean. You may be wondering where the name Flossie & Bean comes from, well... "Flossie" is my husband's nickname for me and from the moment we saw Leo on our first scan, we have called him "our little bean"! I hope that my creations bring a little bit of joy to those who receive them. Thank you for reading!

The biggest compliment I could ever receive isn’t just kind words... it’s when people choose to come back 💛

Last night’s punch needle workshop was extra special because so many of the lovely ladies joining me were returning attendees. Knowing you’ve enjoyed a workshop enough to book another one honestly means the world to me. It reminds me that I’m creating a space where people feel welcome, can get creative and have a lovely evening together.

A special mention for Ann, who joined me for her third workshop! It is always such a joy to have you there.

To every single person who has booked a workshop, recommended one to a friend, or come back again (and again!)... thank you. Your support allows me to keep doing what I love, and I’m so grateful.

The Courtyard Café serves one of the best afternoon teas around, alongside wonderful before-noon teas and lunches. Friendly staff, beautiful surroundings, and delicious food every time.

The Milking Parlour does it again ✨

Another sell-out punch needle workshop, another room full of lovely people creating the cutest decorations. We had lots of new faces join us last night and everyone absolutely smashed it.

Special mention to the pizza and chicken wine decorations made by two of the lovely ladies... I’m obsessed 🍕❤️

Another sold out workshop ✨

I absolutely LOVE when attendees put their own spin on things and create their own designs and this group certainly delivered. 🤩

It was wonderful to welcome back a returning attendee, welcome a rare male workshop guest who smashed his super cute egg on toast decoration 🍳🍞 and of course lots of lovely new faces too.

Sharing my craft with you all is one of my favourite things and watching your confidence and creativity grow throughout the session is so rewarding.

Thank you for continuing to support these workshops — I can’t wait to do it all again soon! 💛
