Hello All,
I'm Looking for a Reliable Helping Hand / Labourer (Suits School Leaver/young person) or someone who wants to earn a bit of extra cash 🫵.
I am a self-employed carpet and vinyl fitter and also undertake screed/preperation jobs. I am looking for a reliable person to join me on site. This would perfectly suit a school leaver/young person living in or around Bedlington looking to earn daily cash and gain some hands-on experience.
Please note this is not a formal apprenticeship to start off with the role will mainly be lifting carrying and general labouring.
However if you are genuinely interested in learning the trade, I will teach you as we work through jobs together. You will gain hands-on experience and build your skill set step-by-step with each job as your time with me progresses.
What you need to know:
Location & Transport:
You must live in or local to Bedlington. I am willing to pick you up and drop you off, so you don't need your own driving licence yet.
The Schedule: Mostly Monday to Friday. We usually leave for work around 8:30 - 8 45am. Days can vary—some weeks we will be flat out, and other days we might have very little or no work, so you need to be flexible.
The Work: Carrying rolls of carpet/vinyl, moving tools, prepping floors, and lifting. It can be a physically demanding job again this varies from job to job.
The Pay: Paid daily, cash in hand. Because I am self-employed, the pay matches the job size. When we land a big job, you will earn more. On small jobs, we might only be on site for an hour or 2, so you would obviously get less. I am very fair though and will look after you.
What I need from you:100% reliable. If you say you are coming, you need to turn up and be ready for 8:30 am. Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting.
