We would like to say a big thank you to Claire who has done so much for us here at The Cabin.
But don't worry... she won't be leaving us completely. You can still find her beautiful creations in our little shop.

It's my last shift in The Cabin this morning. I'm moving from being a "full Cabineer" (the group of artists and makers who do all the shifts and all the other tasks needed to run the business) to renting some shelf space for my work.

You can still find my work in The Cabin, just in a slightly smaller space. I've made the decision to stop doing shifts in order to free up some time for all the planning and preparation needed for all my work with groups, as well as all the various admin jobs associated with being self employed.

There's the work of over 20 artists and makers in The Cabin, using a lovely range of materials, techniques and ideas.

It's almost here! The wonderful Belper Arts Trail is this weekend - all say Sunday and Monday, a perfect way to spend the Bank Holiday. Lots of The Cabin artists and makers are exhibiting in various venues around town, as well as having their work in The Cabin.

If you want to be prepared - we are selling wristbands and booklets for the Arts Trail in the run up (but not during the Trail, there's several other places that will be selling them on Sunday and Monday).
