⭐️ “Goatley weren’t the cheapest… BUT they were without a doubt the best.”
Now that’s a five-star review 🥹
Although, in fairness, it didn’t exactly start that way… When Dij first met Simon, it was an instant “No. Just no.” 😂
The black-and-gold business card. The glossy brochure. The quote that came in higher than the others. Surely all that fancy branding was costing extra, right?
So she did what any sensible person would do… she researched sash windows to within an inch of their lives 🔎 (with a little help from AI, obvs)
And, rather irritatingly for Dij… Goatley kept coming out on top.
Because once you look beyond the price tag, you start to see what’s actually included.

🪵 Proper attention to what’s happening behind the new windows
📐 Careful consideration of proportions, frames, horns and glass
✨ And, of course, exceptional attention to detail
We don’t cut corners just to make a quote look cheaper.
Good windows should look beautiful and be installed properly. The two things are rather fond of each other.
There were questions. Lots of them.
Showroom visits. More than a few.
Phone calls. Many, many phone calls. 😄
And through it all, Simon was patient, knowledgeable and never pushy.
As she put it:
“Somewhere along the way I realised I trusted him.”
When installation finally arrived, our fitters were careful, tidy and meticulous — even returning to finish the little things.
The verdict?
“The windows are absolutely beautiful and the quality is exceptional.” ✨
And our favourite line:
“Simon won my business rather than simply selling me some windows.”
That’s exactly what we aim for.
Not the cheapest windows.
The right windows. Properly made. Properly fitted. Properly looked after.
Because they’re not just windows.
