Sometimes I share pictures of prototypes with friends to get a little feedback. We all have moments where we can doubt ourselves. With the cat design I wondered if it was too simple. But turned out they were just what some people wanted! I immediately made more and they sold before I could even put them on Etsy! The cat studs will be available on Etsy this week 😻🐈‍⬛

Doing my first market in October with Folk & Bespoke was a great experience. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t on our side but I met some lovely people and did better than I expected. Being my first market I wasn’t sure what it’d be like. I’d spent the last week before the event worrying about whether I had enough stock and variety. In the end I realised that I needn’t have worried so much as everyone starts somewhere. My advice would be, be kind to yourself once you have that first market under your belt you can use what you have learned to prepare for the next. Chat to other stall holders as they might have some tips. Oh and in winter bring layers, fingerless gloves and a hot water bottle! 🤪
