Berties Beads is a small family business that evolved from a love of beads and colour.

Berties Beads trades on Facebook, Etsy, Ebay and and a workshop in Maldon. Berties Bead has regular fortnightly events on facebook. This is where around 50 different lines are on offer together with approximately 15 auctions. Please note beads and are not toys and are unsuitable for the under 3's. The beads can be choking hazards.

Hi I was just updating two of the schedule posts involving alot of different colours of the same type of item and facebook has blocked me underspamming they had been sitting in a box next to where I work for months so I just though I would catch up a bit. Tuesday's listing seems to have updated, Wednesdays won't and I was about to do Fridays. I have no idea what will become visible until it does. But it looks like their are limits on what I can comment on as well, so I am going to have to maybe do a rethink going forward somehow. Hopefully you will see this post.

Hi everyone I thought I would give you a little update from the business's point of view, as I have been very quiet and it is an extra week until this event. I also included a current picture of the section that changes every couple of months.
This month always was going to be busy as I restarted my full tuition load although its overall load is slightly less than last year which is going in the correct direction to get to an easier workload for me.
Also I have just done 3 sessions at a college's Freshers week which took up alot of time to prep as well as closing the kiosk for a two days.
I was turned down for a grant to bring the event fully into the kiosk although mainly upstairs, it would also have given me a space to easily run the website from, and save me alot of time. So most probably at least another year of before that is a possibility, I never have been good at phrasing applications to what people want to hear, I just say what I will do.
So what is going to be on this event, well you will have to wait to next weekend I am afraid for that nugget as I have forgotten the two listings I have done and cannot remember over 10 boxes I am behind with. But there will be Christmas items both this event and next. A few halloween ones, stainless steel and alot of beads , in this event.
My plan is for one listing a day. It will be a big listing with a variety of items and yes I have carries home more items for clearance.
Thank you for reading. @top fans
