🌺 Remembering Those Who Served – Supporting the Royal British Legion

This Remembrance season, Rightway Bevans is proud to support the Royal British Legion through sales of our Solar Tommy memorials.

From 22–31 October 2026, we'll donate £3.33 from every Solar Tommy sold directly to the Royal British Legion (RBL), with the aim of raising £500 for this incredibly worthwhile cause.

The Solar Tommy is a beautiful illuminated garden tribute, offering a lasting way to remember and honour those who have served. It creates a gentle, colour-changing glow for up to eight hours on a single charge.

Measuring 60cm in total height, the Solar Tommy is solar-powered and features an IP67-rated water-resistant solar panel, making it a fitting addition to a garden or outdoor memorial.

The Solar Tommy is produced by Royal British Legion Industries (RBLI) through its social enterprise, which provides employment opportunities for veterans and people with disabilities.

By purchasing a Solar Tommy during this period, you'll be helping us support the Royal British Legion and the vital work it carries out throughout the year. The charity provides practical, emotional and financial support to members of the Armed Forces community, helping them lead fulfilling, independent lives.

🌺 Visit your local Rightway Bevans store to discover our Solar Tommy memorials and help us support this incredibly important and poignant cause.

🐾 Local community matters!

As an employee-owned business, the causes that matter to our team matter to all of us. ❤️

That's why Rightway Bevans was delighted to support a recent community effort to brighten and refresh the grounds of the National Military Working Dogs Memorial in Holywell!

Volunteers turned out in force on a bright Sunday morning to plant an incredible 620 daffodil bulbs, alongside a beautiful selection of flowers and plants, creating a fitting tribute to these four-legged heroes. 🌼

What we saw really was a community effort!

The oldest volunteer was 79 years young, whilst the next generation was represented too, with the youngest helper just 11 years old.

Seeing members of the Rightway Bevans team working alongside volunteers from the wider community was a genuine source of pride, and we can't wait to see the results when the flowers bloom next spring.

We're incredibly proud to have donated bulbs towards such a worthwhile cause. Supporting the communities around our stores is something we care deeply about, and days like this remind us just how much can be achieved when people come together.

A huge thank you to everyone who volunteered, and to The National Military Working Dogs Memorial UK for allowing us to play a part in something so special.

It's an honour to support a cause so close to our hearts. ❤️

🐾 Never Forgotten. Always Honoured.
