It’s nearly time…!

Next weekend I’m officially back to markets and events! Starting off with Chester!🥹

I’m bringing lots of trinkets and ceramics with me into my events this autumn! I’ll also have a small autumn/halloween-coded polymer selection too - I’ll post more about those next week🤭🎃🍂

It’s so funny - I usually take SO many photos. Like my camera roll has 30k+ photos - but for some reason in the last two weeks I’ve taken virtually none🤪

I think being ‘off duty’ in some ways has meant I’ve been grabbing my phone less to take pictures 🤣 I’m sure once I’m back to events in September I’ll be taking pictures again!🤣🤪

Despite my lack of photos, I’ve been super busy. Packing orders, lots and lots of ceramics (lots of wheel time), trips to get new glazes and just tidying up my workspaces after the mad early summer convention/market slog!!! 🙏🏻 it does feel nice to have a clean and tidy workspace going forward into the autumn season! 🍂

This week is sculpting and throwing, getting all things autumn and winter made and ready for my upcoming events. I’ll post soon with all my upcoming events too - I am actually so excited to get back to markets and events!🤭🥹

Witch Hat Atelier inspired dishes!🧡💚💙

The process for many of my projects starts in my sketchbook! I have soooo many plans in there (some I’ve already done, many I’ve not🤣)

I was inspired to do these dishes after watching the first season of Witch Hat a few months ago! The struggle the witches had for drawing a perfect circle really resonated with me as a beginner potter (trying to centre the clay🤣) funnily enough 🥹 I just had this idea of being able to create a perfect circle in sgraffito using the wheel💚🧡💙 then I thought adding the spells into the circles would make such a cute little dish🫶🏼

What do you think?🥹 I am keen to do even more, so let me know any requests for different spells I could do!🫶🏼

Wooooooo! I’m currently having a break from events until September and so I’m in full restock mode! 🤪 lots of throwing over here👋

I also have been super lucky and did a 3 day intensive throwing experience with Tracy at Tracy Cross - which has helped so, so much with my confidence in throwing consistently, quickly and even larger pots!

I’m hoping (all being well!!!) to have a full set of stock ready for all of my September/October events, and also to get some of these pieces up onto my Etsy and website🥹

I think my fave pieces have got to be my new Witch Hat Atelier inspired trinket dishes - these were a hit at MCM when I did them as a prototype and so I’m soooo excited to have more in stock! I also kind of like doing sgraffito on the clay to get the pattern, so I think I’ll be doing more of these hehe 🧙💙🤍

My next jobs are to throw some more mugs and garlic graters!!!🥹 and also to do a full restock on my polymer clay pieces - I’m planning to get my brushbuddy photo holders up on Etsy/my website asap as I know lots of people were keen to see them on there!🥹🤍

For now, back to the wheel I go🤪

I had so much fun this weekend at MCM! Despite all the teething problems the event had, I still had a great time and it was so wonderful to meet so many wonderful new and familiar faces! 🫶🏼

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by for a chat or to make a purchase🫶🏼 it means the world to me!

My next convention will be MCM London in October, but I have plenty of events before then lined up🩷 I’ll be doing a full post soon with all of my upcoming autumn market dates on, so follow along if you’d like to shop with me in person!🫶🏼

For now, I’ll be busy restocking and updating my website to include more of my stock. Lots of you asked for the brushbuddies to be available online and so I’ll get restocking those and will post as soon as they’re available🫶🏼
