Oshin Art OSHIN ART designs and creates beautiful FLOWERS, using the traditional Japanese technique Tsumami Zaiku. I am Paulina, designer and owner of OSHIN ART.

Since I was a child, art has been my passion, for this reason I have learnt different techniques such as painting, embroidery, doll making, crochet, knitting, sewing, etc., but this was only a hobby for some time. Suddenly my dreams came true, when in 2015 I knew about Fargo Village - Coventry, it was when I started my small business at the container No. 12 and I was there about 1 year. As my busi

ness was growing up, getting more customers, orders, I had the chance of move on the Fargo Village's Market Hall, where I have currently my shop; then I extended my business, increasing my stock and offering workshops. KANZASHI FLOWERS

I am not Japanese; however I love and admire Japanese culture and traditional arts, specially handmade crafts. It all started 10 years ago, when I found the Tsumami-Zaiku Kanzashi technique and since then, I have learnt by observing, practicing and researching among Japanese masters and dedicated forums. Now, in my creations, I try to be faithful and respect the original technique, but adapting the designs to a western style and I make my own original designs. Each petal, each leaf, is made by hand, one by one, with love and patience; for this reason, I prefer to use only the best quality materials, such as chiffon, organza, taffeta, chirimen , silk and cotton brought from Japan; some fabrics have been hand painted by me. For a final touch, I use pearls, gems, pistils, Swarovski crystals and pearls. I do not use ribbons and I do not use threads and needles. Wear my Kanzashi Flowers on hair, clothes, hats, as a charm on handbags, as a precious jewel on your neck, hands and wrists or decorate your favourite spaces with them. You will find simple and beautiful designs to wear them daily, also more elaborate designs for special occasions and limited collections for brides, bridegrooms, pages, flower girls, bridesmaids or as a wedding reminder for guests. I am inspired by flowers, nature in general, the seasons and the beauty and elegance of Geishas and Maikos. DOLLS

Apart of Kanzashi Flowers, OSHIN ART is recognized by its great variety of creations, such as personalized string dolls, fofuchas dolls, soft dolls, key rings, accessories, pictures and personalized items. WORKSHOPS

I offer workshops in Fargo Village Coventry in ideal space, with confortable facilities and surrounded by lots of small, independent businesses, who are on similar activities. You can find my shop at FARGO VILLAGE Coventry and very soon, you could find Kanzashi Flowers in my Etsy shop.
