Here is the fixture list for the next few months - starting with my Scottish tour with the brilliant Calum Baird which starts at MacArts on Wednesday! As well as his songs, and my poems and songs, we’ll be teaming up for selections from my Early Music Show which we’ve performed as part of the official Edinburgh Fringe programme at St Cecilia's Hall for the past 5 years. I’ll be playing crumhorn, cornamuse, 5 different recorders, rauschpfeife, fiddle and mandola. Early music meets punk!

After 46 years as ATS and over 4000 gigs across England, Wales, mainland Europe, Australia, Canada, NZ and the USA it’s ridiculous that this will be my first ever national tour of the country which gave me my surname Baine (dad’s ancestors from Greenock, 200 years ago).

13 shows in 12 days. My second ever visit to the ancestral Cowshed for Greenock Morton Official v Stenhousemuir FC next Saturday. Three spaces left for the Stirling concert after that (email [email protected]) and tickets available for all the rest apart from Macduff - for that one email [email protected]
Bring it on 😉

Edit: The Rothesay gig is 3.30 doors, 4pm start. Just confirming that again. On the ticket page it says 3-8, 7.30 start. This is obviously incorrect and it's not Mark McGhee's fault :)

The Perpetual Calendar and Countdown to Christmas Workshop is the first of the workshops (because you'll need this ready for December!) and there are 2 bookable sessions with 4 places on each on Saturday 21st November at £12 per person. Details and booking are on our website dbtwood.com.
Details of the other workshop being held at Dalbeattie Wood Make and Create Workshop are also on our website where one date has sold out already.
