I didn’t plan to be a dealer of antiques but when I got carried away at a farm sale many years ago and spent most of my college grant in one go, there was no going back! I love country antiques for their honesty as evidence of past lives. Old paint, signs of wear and initials all create clues to age and use. With good stock now so hard to find, it is more exciting than ever to be able to offer something that speaks volumes, for its use, design or as a window in to someone else’s life long ago. This one has been sitting in the shed for too long and finally came the time to renovate and relove it. Now really pleased with the result, it is trucking once again! I went skiing years ago and as we drove through the French Alps past a farm, someone was using a small peasant cart to collect wood. SAUSAGES! Well you did wonder. . . This Victorian sausage mincer has so many wonderful brass fittings, I felt compelled to strip it right down and polish it up before putting it back together. Great looking piece and never seen one like it.
