This week’s event flowers smell every bit as beautiful as they look…
I’ve spent much of this week preparing flowers for weekend events, including these miniature apothecary vases, filled with a seasonal mix of flowers and foliage gathered from our Yorkshire Wolds cutting garden.
These sweet little vases include;
🌿 Sweet Williams
🌿 Sweet Peas
🌿 Feverfew
🌿 Marjoram
🌿 Veronica
🌿 Cornflowers
🌿 Yorkshire Fog
I always enjoy creating these smaller arrangements. Each vase is carefully filled with flowers chosen for their colour, texture and character, creating natural, garden-inspired displays for tables and gatherings.
Many of these early summer flowers are beautifully fragrant too. The spicy, clove-like scent of sweet Williams mingles with the warm herbal fragrance of marjoram, adding another layer of seasonal charm.
The garden is changing so quickly at the moment. Every few days something new comes into flower while others quietly fade, meaning no two orders are ever quite the same.
Hope you’re having a lovely weekend.
