Arrived too early at the hairdressers this morning with my granddaughter so I sat chatting (as you do) with a lovely lady and we got talking about, yes you guessed it, sewing 😂 As you know, I don’t do craft fairs anymore but having this interaction with a complete stranger made me realise how much I miss the fairs. My friend Ang is having a table at The Bespoke Village Crafts in Jacksdale on Sunday (she sews and crochets items to sell for Canine Partners) and I said I would go along and help her so I’m looking forward to that. If you’re planning a visit then please pop by and say hello. ❤️
Next week I will be making a start on my Christmas makes and some of my popular items such as the Toiletry Bag sets & Tote bags. Let me know if you want to pre order anything (no deposit necessary) before the Christmas rush.

My friend (and very good customer) asked me to make her an apron with an adjustable neck loop so that she could put it on without messing up her hair. I’ve tried making the ones with adjustable metal sliders but I’m not a fan to be honest. By sewing this method, it gives you a simple way to pull your straps to where it suits you quickly and without the need for fiddling with the neck loop every time you use your apron. I’m definitely a fan and will be making all of my aprons in this style in future. So whether you’re buying for yourself or as a gift for someone else, you can be rest assured that it will fit nicely no matter what build they are. 👍 PS apologies for the photos as I don’t have my mannequin anymore due to lack of space.

Getting ready to do some table runners, just waiting for some great Halloween fabric to arrive and then I will be making some. For now, here’s a Christmas one I made to fit my table. It measures 1.46m long but I can make them smaller or larger depending on the size of your table and in whatever style (pointed or square ended). This one is double sided and reversible in either green, red and costs £12.00
Other fabrics and sizes will differ in price depending on cost of fabric, single or double sided etc.

I haven’t made these for a while. Parent & toddler aprons in a lovely Debbie Shore fabric backed in white cotton. Both have a pocket and white tape ties. Can be bought as a set or sold separately. Only 1 set available.
