Stunning, large Cornish landscape depicting “Ralph’s cupboard” - a cove just a mile west of Portreath steeped in local Folklore.
The cove was believed to be the lair of Wrath the giant who would hide away in the cave and wreck passing ships to steal their treasure and eat their sailors!!
This beautiful painting by Nancy Bailey (1913-2012) shows altogether a more tranquil view of this landscape.

Kitchen Makeover đź’š

The kitchen of this lodge house involved knocking two rooms in to one plus in to the attached garage which gave us a great space to work with.

I wanted to create a modern kitchen with some period pieces to link to the rest of the house yet keep it simple and uncluttered.

Monday morning makeover 🧡

Throwback to this project in an arts and crafts style property - this hallway with adjacent cloakroom lacked any warmth but fortunately still had the original floor tiles and front door which gave me a starting point for my designs.
We colour drenched both rooms and added some simple touches to link it’s surroundings within nature.
The pair of educational bird posters were a great find which I had framed in a simple black frame at and we replaced the modern light fittings with antique brass lanterns.
