Accidentally Wes Anderson
This bathroom makeover could slot right into a Wes Anderson movie.
So many things to love about it,so zoom in, let the whole scene play out, rewind to look at your favourite parts again, and like a movie, all the credits are at the end.
As always we approached this project in the most sustainable responsible way we could. Floors and wall tiles were decades old and the grout was all blown, so these we replaced. The classic chequerboard floor is a nod to our French heritage and the encaustic wall tiles are a bespoke collab.
We refurbed the existing vanity unit, repainting in one of my favourite greens and refurbing and retaining the marble top.
We added new basins, coloured and fluted concrete for a touch of fun and paired them with these gorgeous powder coated coloured taps.
The final touches and textures were added with fresh ironmongery in antique brass, new wall lights and mirrors.
The previous light fittings and mirrors were repurpsed in other projects.

I still can't decide what my favourite part of this scheme is. I pretty much love it all 🫶🏻
