We are an independent bathroom & kitchen design studio and retailer with a showroom in Oxford. Designs that listen - Interiors that speak!

Specialising in quality design and supply of bathrooms, steam rooms, saunas, kitchens and utility rooms. A visit to our bathroom showroom at South Oxford Business Centre, OX44 9DP will give you some fantastic ideas and show the quality of work we do. Martina Landhed, Design Director, and owner’s mission is that InStil Design provide something different, special, and unique to each individual customer. For every customer we create functional, innovative bathrooms and/or kitchens and incorporate the best products and highest quality materials to ensure the best outcome. We take you on a journey from the initial design brief meeting which is shaped based on your needs. Your new bathroom or kitchen is presented with the help of computer aided images and a 3D design program, so you fully understand and appreciate the space of your new bathroom. While we design & supply both bathrooms and kitchen, please note that we do not display any kitchens at our showroom. Please also not that we operate on an appointment-only basis on Mondays. We work together with homeowners, building contractors and architects.

✨ BEFORE & AFTER | Boot Room Transformation ✨

From a practical utility space to a beautifully organised boot room! 🤍

Swipe to see how we transformed this area into a stylish, functional space that works beautifully for everyday life.

The original room was all about practicality, but with clever design, we’ve created a dedicated space for coats, shoes, and everyday essentials and hidden the boiler, all while keeping everything effortlessly stylish.

🌿 Beautiful cabinetry in a timeless, muted green
✨ Bespoke storage to keep everything neat and organised.
🪵 Warm oak accents to add texture and warmth.
💡 Thoughtful lighting and brass details for the perfect finishing touches

We love how the classic shaker-style doors, natural wood, and elegant brass hardware bring character to this hardworking space.

Because good design isn’t just about how a room looks, it’s about how it works for you, too.

✨ Small bathroom. Big transformation. ✨

Who says a modest-sized bathroom can’t feel luxurious?

This project shows what you can achieve with a clever new layout, carefully chosen materials, and thoughtful design. From the beautiful marble-effect surfaces and warm wood finishes to the elegant lighting and contemporary sanitaryware, every detail works together to create a high-end feel.

And luxury isn’t just about looks! 🤍 By making the most of the available space, we’ve incorporated plenty of practical storage while keeping the room stylish, uncluttered and functional.

✨ BEFORE & AFTER | Family Bathroom Transformation ✨

Swipe through to see the before, our CAD design and the finished transformation.

We completely reimagined this family bathroom, replacing the original shower-over-bath setup with a separate bath and shower for the best of both worlds.

🛁 A beautiful back-to-wall bath
🚿 A separate shower for everyday practicality
✨ A clever new layout that makes the room feel wider, more spacious and better balanced.

The key to this transformation was turning the bath around and rethinking the layout. By carefully planning each element's position, we’ve created a room that feels bigger and works beautifully for family life.

A completely transformed bathroom. 🤍
