Our new display has arrived ✨

We love the new trendy and elegant oval shape, combined with a beautifully moulded basin. A beautiful mix of modern design with a touch of mid-century influence.

Another thing we love is the fluted finish. It’s one of the few fluted vanities actually made with real wood veneer, while still being at an affordable price.

And it’s available in so many different colours and wood finishes. We went for the dark wood, the wood colour of 2026 🤎

✨ When a £2m new-build doesn’t get the bathroom right…

A few years ago, we were asked to transform this master bathroom in a beautiful new-build home in Oxfordshire.

The house had wonderful proportions, but the original bathroom simply didn’t make the most of the space. The basin sat beneath the eaves, making it uncomfortable to use, and the standard off-the-shelf products didn't match the home's quality.

We redesigned the layout, worked with the eaves rather than against them, and carefully selected every element to create a bathroom that felt considered, practical and right for the house.

✨ Making standard products feel anything but standard…

This stunning family bathroom is a great example of how you can take a standard product and make it completely individual.

At the heart of the room is a Langton Solid Timber Washstand by Bathroom Furniture Makers , in a standard size and the standard colour Prussian Blue. But with the right combination of materials and carefully selected details, it has become a truly bespoke-looking piece.

The transformation comes from the details:
💙 A beautiful worktop sourced from a local stone supplier Oxford stone & Marble
💙 A unique, colourful sit-on basin and striking long-handle tap, specified and supplied by the interior designer Interior Designer Oxfordshire
💙 Wall-mounted tap by Tres Grifería

💙 Carefully blended brass finishes throughout the room

The result? A standard-sized, standard-colour washstand that feels completely unique to this bathroom.

It’s a great reminder that individuality doesn’t always mean bespoke. Sometimes, it’s about knowing how to combine standard products, beautiful materials and unexpected details to create something that feels entirely your own.

An inspiring two-day visit to the Keuco factory.

As a designer at Instil Design, it was a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the products we specify every day and to see the entire process from manufacturing and quality control to packing and shipping. It was also great to meet fellow designers from across the industry and share ideas along the way.
