Cutting edge design and exceptional client care are at the heart of Blaydon-based Newcastle Kitchen and Bedroom Company
Newcastle Kitchen and Bedroom Company has grown from a small workshop established in 1996 into a beautifully unique showroom. With inspirational room settings showcasing the true meaning of bespoke, kitchens, bedrooms, dressing rooms, home office/studies, media furniture and hand-crafted furniture. Exhibiting the largest display of designer and traditional radiators and Karndean Design Flooring in the Northeast and not forgetting Fleur Interiors our interior design partner, specialising in luxury residential and commercial projects and Wakefields Smarter Home who are at the forefront for all your digital and lighting requirements, making this the perfect place for all your interior needs. Upon entering the showroom, the one thing that you cannot help but admire is the quality of the design and the effect of the pieces in this space. From the vast array of incredible designer radiators to the specialised lighting, this opulence continues throughout. The range of product on display here gives you an insight into what is possible, a truly magnificent classical framed kitchen, contemporary designer kitchens and bedrooms, the popular shaker style kitchen and even a hidden studio bar. Every element has been judiciously considered, the constant amalgamation of technology and furniture design in this development is outstanding. Martin Thompson and Darren Evans our senior designers and Connie Fowler our showroom manager who together have a wealth of experience in the industry, greet with a friendly and professional attitude and a cup of coffee as he explains ‘‘our initial aim when launching the company was to become the destination for a personalised design and quality high-end product, creating elegant, timeless pieces of furniture. We manufacture everything in our own workshop which is on site so you can literally see your design coming to life. An exciting addition to what we have to offer is bourn from our partnership with Fleur Interiors and Wakefields Smarter Homes Systems. We want to create the perfect harmony of sound and vision combined with beautiful interiors. Blending art and innovation, we create a total home control system to give you complete management at the touch of a button. The process is very personal and tailored entirely to the client. We meet to discuss every aspect of the design with them, explaining all the products we offer, bespoke hand-crafted furniture and fittings, specialist surfaces, state of the art appliances, designer radiators, audio and visual as well as lighting. Sometimes clients are not sure exactly what they are looking for, so I create a design brief tailored to the client’s individual requirements. I then produce detailed hand-drawn plans, elevations, and mood boards. At every stage of the design and build process we liaise with our clients and are dedicated to making the whole experience memorable and enjoyable.’’
It’s this close relationship with clients that produces such fantastic results and something Martin, Darren and Connie considers to be the most rewarding aspect of his job. ‘’There is nothing more satisfying than a happy customer who would recommend us without hesitation.’’
Our showroom and displays are fully functioning packed with modern innovations such as steam/ combination ovens, flex-induction hob and an instant boiling, chilled and even sparkling water tap and our secret dressing room is a must to find! In Short:
‘Everything we do is inspired by design.’
