Bringing Melissa & Harry’s vision to life! 🌸🧡

From Melissa’s beautiful bridal bouquet and Harry’s matching buttonhole to the overflowing basket arrangements, everything came together so beautifully.

We used a gorgeous mix of vibrant orange roses, soft peach garden roses, lilac-pink roses and delicate cream lisianthus, with touches of gypsophila, waxflower and burgundy sanguisorba adding texture and movement. We loved how the bold oranges worked alongside the softer pinks and creams, creating a romantic feel with plenty of natural, wispy details.

We were also lucky enough to receive the loveliest thank you card which really meant the world to us. Knowing we’d helped play a little part in making their day special is exactly why we love what we do. 🌸

A huge thank you to Melissa and Harry for trusting us with their wedding flowers, and for allowing us to share their gorgeous pictures by Aimee Lince Photography. 🧡

She may be a new face on our socials, but Victoria has been part of the Crosskills family for around 12 years!

One of her favourite parts of the job is creating those beautiful finishing touches, from bows on gift boxes to ribbons for bouquets and wedding flowers.

Our lovely Jane and the incredibly talented Sarah from Raspberry Rose Designs have been busy working their magic together! 💕

From beautiful hand-painted cards and vases to mugs, coasters and even a gorgeous bridal collection, their creative collaboration has already brought so many lovely things to Crosskills Florist! 💐

But guess what, they’re only just getting started! 🤭

Their collection is growing, their imaginations are running wild, and with these two, the world really is their oyster! 🦪

We don’t want to give too much away just yet, but there are some VERY exciting things in the works!

A little piece of Grandad, woven into her wedding day 🩵

There’s always something so special about wedding flowers that tell a story, and Lani’s bouquet in particular does just that!

For this beautiful bridal bouquet, we created a full, romantic dome of classic white roses, nestled amongst delicate powder-blue Oxypetalum and soft, silvery Senecio foliage. Those tiny blue star-shaped flowers added the prettiest “something blue” to the bouquet. 🩵

But the most meaningful detail was one you might not spot at first glance.

A piece of Grandad’s shirt, along with his buttons, was incorporated into the bouquet, allowing Lani to carry a little piece of him with her as she walked down the aisle. 🩵

We can’t wait to see the professional photographs from Aimee Lince Photography.

From Bumble to “I Do” 🐝

Amy & Ethan matched on Bumble only to discover they’d already worked at the same company for three years! And as if that wasn’t enough of a coincidence, they both had rose tattoos on their right arms 🌹

Five and a half years later, with their little girl Poppy by their side, they said “I do” at Old Clee Church, followed by celebrations at Grimsby Golf Club.

Amy chose dreamy powder blue and creamy white flowers. Soft, romantic and perfect for their beautiful day.

Such a lovely story to be a small part of.

Celebrating Amy and Ethan 🌸

Amy and Ethan first matched on Bumble 🐝, only to discover they had already been working at the same company, Autotrail, for three years!

Another lovely coincidence followed when they realised they both had rose tattoos on their right arms 🌹

Five and a half years later, with their beautiful little girl Poppy by their side, Amy and Ethan married at Old Clee Parish Church, followed by celebrations at Grimsby Golf Club.

For her flowers, Amy chose a soft palette of pale powder blue and creamy whites. The same delicate tones carried through to the bridesmaids’ bouquets and groomsmen’s buttonholes, bringing everything together beautifully.

A wonderful day to have been a small part of, and a very special story behind it.
