Ok. There is a story.

I bought this oil painting at a French trade market. The attraction was instant. I didn’t even ask the price. Knew it would be mine. When the French dealer told me how much to hand over, I gasped because it was a lot. He proceeded to tell me in his very strong French accent who the artist was. I remember hearing “very important artist”. During my excitement I said merci and walked off with it under my arm. Today, 16 months later. Can I find the artist? NO. I have tried every search engine known to man. So I’m not listing this just yet. Very happy to hold on to it until I track the artist down. Also. You know what the key words were on my school reports growing up. I wish Lia would listen more!
