This weekend my sister lalita and I visited Blicking hall to see the amazing global textiles exhibition by Karun Thakar .
It really was pretty impressive.

Lalita runs an Indian textile clothing business so was very happy and in her element admiring all of the different parts of the exhibition.

It was a real eye opener and very inspiring for us both to be around some amazing textiles and workmanship from around the world.

A lovely way to catch up with my sister and hopefully there will be another textiles trip in the future.

Rounding off the week with a visit to a client's house to deliver there new kitchen cushions.

The job started a few weeks ago with a home visit to discuss fabric options and the style of cushions.

This particular job required a more cottage feel finish with handmade feather cushions inserts. The fabric chosen was from one of my suppliers Andrew martin, a weave fabric called 'Salinas'.

Happy customer, happy me.
