🌺 GETTING READY FOR ARMISTICE DAY 🌺

At City Wood Floors, we’re getting ready to mark Armistice Day, and our Tommy is up and ready to take pride of place in our tribute! ❤️

Our Tommy, the familiar symbol of remembrance, helps us honour the British Armed Forces and remember all those who served, sacrificed, and fought for the freedoms we enjoy today.

As we prepare to pay our respects, Tommy will stand as a reminder that we must never forget the courage and sacrifice of those who gave so much for others.

🌺 We will remember them. Lest We Forget

CASE STUDY:

Recently Laid to a Newly Refurbished Office Space is our Smoked, Brushed & UV Oiled Oak, Product number #457.

In order to achieve the subfloor height deviation tolerance of +/- 2mm over a 3m area a combination of Mapei Renovation self levelling compound and 5.5mm plywood was used.

The engineered boards have been laid free floating above Duralay acoustic underlay with each board bonded tongue to groove using Mapei PVA wooden flooring adhesive.

Once the flooring had been laid a third party was contracted to install skirting board’s throughout, masking the gap left for the floor to expand and contract throughout the seasons.

With lots of people in and out of the office throughout the day coir matting was installed to protect the floor from dirt, mud and moisture.

Smoked, Brushed & UV Oiled; the texture and warmth of our flooring has brought an abundance of character and colour to this beautiful office space.
