The wrack line - the line of treasures left behind by the tide, the first place islanders look to see what the night’s brought in 🐚

Much like the wrack line brings treasures to the shore, I empty my workbench every couple of weeks and lay it there for you to find. Like a shell hunt, you never know what you’ll stumble upon and two pieces will never be the same. A home for my one-of-a-kind treasures that I’ve finally accepted to part with🩵

My desk of the week 😁🤸🏼‍♀️Had a busy weekend getting ready for and launching my new website - thank you for the sweet messages I’ve received about it - so I figured I’d treat myself and tackle multiple different colourful projects at the same time, as one does.
On the menu we have: finishing up a moving picture, making stud earrings and more jewellery, unpacking clay orders, a lil throwback to taking my product pictures and organising my buttons so they’re ready to be shipped out to you… when the weather gods decide to calm down! 🌬️
The island’s definitely slowed down now, and I can feel winter creeping in… talk about a named storm in October as a welcoming gift for the new season’s start🫣 But winter also means I get extra time to make, and that’s definitely a plus for me!

Unlocked a new favourite game today: matching my pictures to my hand-dyed yarns 🌈 (+ trying out my new lightbox for my product pictures - we’re upping the game big time)

Scilly truly is the prettiest colour palette 🥹

It’s crafternoon here at the cafe today (Tuesday) - bring your projects, sit & chat to other crafters over a cuppa & a piece of cake!

If you’ve not got a project on the go, head on down to Popplestone Studio to get some yarn or a mini crafty project - they’ve got loads to choose from in the shop!

We open at 3 - 9pm.
