We’ve moved! You’ll now find us at Unit 4, Fox Farm — just a stone’s throw from the Barn, on the same Fox Farm site.

Our new space is a little warmer, and the birds will have to admire the antiques from outside now 😘 Kevin’s been busy hanging the lights while we make ourselves at home. We can’t wait to welcome you in!

A handsome Victorian Gothic Revival library bookcase, full of character and beautiful warm oak grain.

The open shelves sit above a practical chest base with six drawers and brass ring handles. Predominantly oak, with mahogany and pine elements, it has a wonderfully aged patina. It retains a worn Hobbs & Co paper label, and the lock is stamped Hobbs & Co, London.

A characterful addition to any room 🦏

This wonderfully sculpted leather rhino footstool has lovely detailing and a rich, well-worn patina. It has the look of the Liberty style, though we haven’t found a maker’s mark to confirm its origin.

A rather special piece, and sure to make people smile.

A little sunshine on Portobello Road ☀️🐾

Come and see Patricia, Katya and the canine team at Eves & Samuel, 367 Portobello Road. We’re showing a lovely selection of our furniture and objects in collaboration with Patricia Boxshall.

We’re open Wednesday to Sunday, 10.30am–5pm, and by appointment on Mondays and Tuesdays. On Wednesdays until Christmas, we’re staying open late until 8.30pm — join us for a glass of w**e and a few nibbles.

Bring the dogs and come in for a browse!

A handsome pair of freshly restored mahogany campaign-style chests, with rich red-brown figuring and striking brass corner mounts and drawer furniture. Their compact proportions make them as useful as they are decorative, with a touch of Hollywood Regency glamour.

A beautiful early 20th century Arts & Crafts reclining armchair, newly recovered in a neutral linen and full of charm.
With its elegant shaped arms, slatted sides and adjustable reclining back, this is a wonderfully comfortable piece as well as a very decorative one. The warm oak frame contrasts beautifully with the fresh upholstery, giving it a timeless, understated look.

A handsome and practical chair that would work equally well in a sitting room, bedroom or reading corner.
