What a journey so far! 12 years have past by in a flash.
From working with shades blinds for 13 years to taking the jump and starting for myself 12 years ago with the motto of Ayrshire only, customers come first.
We got £20000 miss sold ppi from the bank and that is where it really began, my dream, my vision. from designing my first logo to buying my first two vans, then moving into our first factory and learning how to make blinds, late nights till 4am 7 days a week then doubling our fleet of vans, two years later outgrowing the factory and risking everything, selling our house and buying the new house with factory, then the hard work really began….
I almost single handedly built the factory from scratch, from building all the units to painting everything, late nights and every weekend.
I had to navigate our business through Covid, making sure everyone got paid and also keeping the business afloat, we never let any of our staff down nor our customers.
We redesigned our logo and got all vans wrapped, we now have grown to a fleet of 11 vans and have improved every year, we are now offering a 5 year warranty as standard.
My nephew Stephen and I started the shutter room with the same fundamentals as budget, to provide a better product, have it expertly fitted, backed with a 5 year warranty as standard and what a difference we are making! We have amassed over 1100 Google 5 star reviews from our wonderful customers and we are taking on contract jobs throughout all the councils in Ayrshire and the prestigious hotel Trump Turnberry to name a few.
3 years ago I bought back the shares and took the business on the correct path back to perfection.
it’s been one helluva journey and here’s to the next 20 years!
Blinds are our passion and looking after our customers is our number 1 priority, this has never changed from day one.
