 Hello, I'm Sarah, the founder of 'A Little Bit Fancy'. Having been a self employed home carer for some years, I paused to consider my next venture - what would I love to do?
 'A Little Bit Fancy' started as a little bit of fun but has blossomed into something so rewarding, so fulfilling. Something far beyond my expectation. I am blessed to be able to do what I do. We strive to being masters of our craft. Our commitment to quality, handmade products, incomparable customer service and care keep our customer community coming back again and again. ✨ A Little Bit Fancy – Christmas Booking Update ✨

As we head towards the festive season, I wanted to let you know that my diary is now fully booked for all bespoke soft furnishing projects required before Christmas.

My diary for the New Year is also filling up quickly, so if you’re considering beautiful bespoke curtains, Roman blinds, cushions or upholstery, I would encourage you to get in touch sooner rather than later.

But it’s not all finished for Christmas just yet! 🎄

Our professional fitting service will continue right up until Christmas, along with the supply of curtain poles, tracks and a fabulous range of made-to-measure window blinds, including:

✨ Beautifully simple, effortlessly elegant ✨

There was only one way of dressing this bay window, and that was with a trio of Roman blinds.
A stripe fabric is always a smart choice. The white fabric and poly cotton (bonded) lining allow the light to be diffused, giving privacy and warmth without throwing the room into the shade.
Just stunning, also a blackout blind in the bedroom in my clients favourite colour. Linoso fabrics are great to work with, washable at 30degrees and come in any colour you can think of.
My client is happy, I am chuffed to bits…. Another perfect finish by A Little Bit Fancy.

It’s not always curtains, blinds and upholstery…..sometimes all a room needs is a small change to complete the look. And in this property a new ‘round’ tablecloth is all it took…..stripes are a super way to draw attention to an otherwise forgotten area. The blues and greys of this fabric bring the perfect seaside vibe.

So this week was the turn of this beautiful window seat cushion.

My client wanted to be able to sit in the window and read. The initial brief was 2 cushions to get around the awkward supporting bar. Luckily at A Little Bit Fancy box cushions are my most favourite thing, and a challenging shape just adds to the joy.

This cushion has it all, a dog leg edge, a mid section concealed zip and a channel to fit around the bar.
It looks amazing, my client is happy and I am thrilled with the results…..

A beautifully made cushion has created the perfect cosy corner to watch the world go by.

Is there anything better than a ceiling fix silent gliss track? Yes, 2 silent gliss tracks….they are sleek, discrete and strong.

My client had a very definite idea of the look and feel that she wanted in her living space, neutral colours but a cosy feel….

This voile and curtain combination absolutely meet the brief, I chose a reverse pleat heading on the voiles to stop them dragging on the backs of the curtains, and a double pinch pleat on the main curtains, with a slight pool to the length to soften the look whilst giving the appearance of a much taller room.

I am thrilled with the result, my client is too, and that for me is another job well done 👍🏼

Parker Knoll is the gift that keeps on giving, so many different designs and each one as beautiful as the last…. But this one is an absolute gem, and my client chose A Little Bit Fancy!!!! Yes me, to breath life into her once more.
Rubbed down and waxed by Andy , new springs, webbing and fire retardant foam and she was ready to show off in this cheerful fabric by Mind The Gap.
Thank you for entrusting us with her….a total showstopper once more.

What can I say, this project was an absolute dream,

cottage top, interlined curtains with contrasting top edge!

Interlined roman blinds with contrasting bottom edge!

Stunning linen rope holdbacks!

Beautiful 50mm poles!

And to finish the look 2 bespoke lampshades made from the leftover fabric.

The fabric is also from the wonderful Meg Morton which is a lovely to work with and a total showstopper.
