The November edition of mail club is on it's way! I hope they all arrive safely this month 🤞🍂✨️

Whilst I've not shown as much of this edition, due to being away, I love it so so much. The colours are so cosy, the artwork is full of life and character, the recipe is indulgent and delicious, and the stickers were so cute and fun to make!

If you've been thinking about joining a mail club, this is your sign to check out mine ❤️ It's all about living more seasonally, learning new things about nature and wildlife, and generlly slowing down and enjoying each month to its fullest.

A few of my favourite inexpensive tools and gadgets that make running my mail club that bit easier! ✂️💌

When I started By the Seasons, I had absolutely no idea how many little bits and pieces I'd end up needing to design, create, print and pack everything myself. I've picked up quite a few new shiny things along the way, but these are some of my favourites that I use all the time.

Nothing particularly fancy or expensive, but really useful finds that have made a big difference to my day-to-day work.

If you're running a snail mail club, hopefully you'll find something useful here too!

I'd also love any recommendations for a good overhead tripod if anyone has one they swear by - there's so many to choose from and I cannot find one that looks decent! Thank you 🙏

How to make pantry labels!

I had so much fun with the November edition bonus item ❤️👩‍🍳 Every month I come up with a new bonus item for my snail mail club, and in November I decided to do pantry labels.

With Christmas coming up, many of you, like me, may be thinking of gifting some homemade kitchen treats - and what better way to finish than with a homemade label.

These were so fun and easy to make, I used Avery labels and the Avery design and print tool to align everything perfectly. I picked colours from the November artwork and inculded 4 different labels for you.

85 members and counting...
I can't even describe how exciting it is to say that I get to send art and writing to 85 people every month 🥹 I love this job so so much, and cherish every single new member who joins mail club, whether its for one month or six! My club is all about slowing down, living each month intentionally, and all things seasonal living. I include a main character artwork each month, a vegetarian recipe, seasonal rituals, seasonal field notes, stickers, and a bonus item which changed every month 🎉 I'd love to have you in the club for November!

November art reveal!

It feels strange doing a reveal after 2 weeks away, but I couldn't wait to introduce you to Rupert, our character for November 🍂❤️ I loved painting him, the scarf was a challenge but I'm happy with how he came out. Novembers edition is all about cosy comfort and warmth, and what we can do to live more seasonally throughout the month. I'll be including all the usual favourites, a delicious recipe, seasonal rituals, bonus items, and more!

Side note- thank you for all of your lovely messages over the last couple of weeks whilst I've been away. A holiday is hard when you're self employed but having a job I love to come back to is a new experience and it's amazing! ❤️

Do I miss corporate life?

Definitely not. I quit corporate life with no plan, and now I'm here 8 months into my seasonal living and nature themed Snail Mail Club, 80 members strong, countless art prints ordered, and happier than I've been in a long time!

October mail club 🍂💌📮

I'm Roxanne, and I run a nature and seasonal living themed mail club with 80 members from all around the world! Every month I send out a beautifully curated envelope containing:

- Original character art of an animal active that month
- A long letter from me about the month ahead
- A vegetarian seasonal recipe card
- An activities card for the month ahead to inspire you
- Extras such as stickers, bookmarks, calendars, and more!

Its all wrapped in my signature 'Field Notes' vellum with hand drawn illustrations, notes on the weather, moon states, and what to grow and eat that month. 🌱

My aim is to help you reconnect with nature, live more in tune with the seasons, and enjoy each month rather than rush through it.
