🥈🌎 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP SILVER FOR LAURI!! 💪❤️
What a day on Saturday here in Phoenix, Arizona! Our girl finished 2nd in the Junior Female category at the 2026 Static Monsters World Championships!
Lauri went out there and gave it absolutely everything she had!
💪 LOG PRESS
✅ 50kg – successful!
✅ 55kg – successful!
❌ 60kg – so close, just couldn't quite get the lockout!
💪 18" AXLE DEADLIFT
✅ 145kg – successful!
❌ 155kg – her second attempt looked locked out to us, but the referees ruled it a no lift. You've got to respect the decision!
❌ 155kg – went back for it on her third attempt, but it just wasn't there.
A fantastic 200kg combined total and a World Championship silver medal to bring home! 🥈
To put her log performance into perspective, Lauri opened with a fantastic 50kg before successfully lifting 55kg on the world stage! At just 17 years old, and with only nine months of strongwoman training behind her, that is something else! 💪
And to top off an incredible day, Lauri also received an official invitation to the 2027 Static Monsters World Championships in South Africa! 🇿🇦🌍
It's been one hell of a journey to get here, and we couldn't be prouder of her. She was nervous going into it, but she stepped onto that platform, dug deep and gave it her all.
A massive thank you to everyone back home who tuned in to watch the livestream and sent messages of encouragement and support throughout the day. We were absolutely overwhelmed by all the lovely messages, and it meant so much knowing so many of you were cheering Lauri on from home!
Thank you also to our family and friends, her personal trainer Shauna Moar, performance coach Bryan Pearson, and all her amazing sponsors and supporters who helped make this journey possible. We couldn't have done it without you!
Lauri, hold your head high, lass. You've earned every bit of that silver medal.
Once we're back home, it'll be back to training and preparing for the next chapter — Lauri's Natural Strongwoman journey, which kicks off in January 2027!
But for now, we're going to enjoy the rest of our time here in Arizona and celebrate what she's achieved!
Lots of Love, one very proud Mum & Dad ❤️
