I am taking a short break to see family and will therefore be away from the studio. All orders placed after Monday 12th of October will be posted after my return on the 22nd.

Finally catching up with myself, and with the much-neglected website after the busy summer season. A brand new batch of hand stitched, reclaimed Fair Isle needle keepers has just been added to the online shop.
I love making these all-wool booklets for keeping all your sewing pins safe…I hope you will enjoy them 🙂

We are absolutely delighted to bring you a very special, limited edition yarn 🧶🧶🧶
We have teamed up with local, single flock producers Aister 'oo' to bring you a hand dyed, DK weight, pure Shetland breed yarn. Grown in Cunningsburgh on a croft that has been in the Mackenzie family for generations, and hand dyed by ourselves here in Bressay less than 10 miles away.

Our studio shop in Bressay is now on winter hours and mainly available to visit by appointment, and whenever I am in there working.
The Speldiburn café in the same building is still open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays until the end of October ( but NOT Thursdays), and Fridays and Saturdays after that.
I am hoping to bring in a more permanent open day through the winter in line with the café, but for now, please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you’d like to visit to make sure I’m there 😊
