We’re taking you behind the scenes of this huge microcement floor from start to finish.

First up was all about preparation. We had to grind back the existing floor to create the perfect base.

At Lux Venetian Plastering we never take shortcuts. Every stage is done properly to make sure our clients get a flawless, long lasting finish.

Microcement is known for its durability, so the application has to be precise, careful and consistent throughout.

This stunning Microcement floor has been keeping us busy lately, and the finished result speaks for itself 👌

For this project, we installed a full belt and braces Microcement system to ensure maximum durability and performance:

✅ Floor fully grinded and expansion beads set
✅ Epoxy and mesh reinforced base coat
✅ Full Microcement system applied
✅ Finished in Poolcem F2 in a bespoke custom colour

The seamless finish creates a modern, hard wearing surface that looks incredible while standing up to everyday use.

Check this finish out 👀

A job we completed earlier in the year at a popular Belfast bar who were undergoing a makeover and diversifying in what they offer to punters. So they called in the experts to make it extra special!

It just so happens they do a banging Sunday roast too so I was in yesterday to grab a slab of beef and admire the craftsmanship 😁

We had the pleasure of creating stunning black and gold walls, ceilings and staircase using the deco past Microcement system 🫡

This is a waterproof, heatproof, seamless finish that can be used pretty much anywhere - but we love this project and the luxurious feel it gives to the place.

Great food, great decor, what's not to like?
