💔 Sad news for the UK crafting community

Many of you will have seen the news about Crafter’s Companion today. The company responsible for running the business has announced that it is going into liquidation, leaving many crafters with questions about outstanding orders and what happens next.

Crafter’s Companion has been part of the crafting world for many years, and this news will understandably be upsetting for customers, staff and the wider crafting community.

The official announcement also confirms that the brand is owned separately, and its future is still being considered. So, while there are many unanswered questions, the story may not be over just yet.

I’ve put together a blog post covering what’s happened, a little of the background, what liquidation means, and what we know so far about the future of the brand.

Hey guys ❤️

I know I was scheduled to be on HobbyMaker today at 6pm, but unfortunately I’m not going to be able to make the show as I’m still suffering with a really horrible migraine. 😔

I’m so disappointed to be missing it, but hopefully I’ll be back on your screens very soon! As soon as I’m able to reschedule the show, I’ll let you all know.

Thank you so much for your understanding ❤️

A massive thank you to Jane and Brian for creating so many gorgeous samples and sharing lots of inspiration over the past week! ❤️
It’s been lovely seeing all the different ways you’ve used the Crafty as a Fox Alice Collection, both online and on TV. I really hope everyone has enjoyed seeing your makes and getting some inspiration along the way.
Please do give Jane and Brian a follow and interact with their posts — it really helps us to get seen by more people, which means we can share Crafty as a Fox products, ideas and inspiration with an even wider crafting community.
Thank you both so much for all your time, creativity and support! 🥰🦊
