A TV that disappears when you don’t need it.

For this living room, we wanted the fireplace to remain the main focal point, without the TV competing for attention.

So we designed bespoke joinery that allows the TV to be completely hidden when not in use.

It’s a practical solution that gives the room a much calmer, more considered look, while still having everything you need for everyday living.

A glimse of the living room from our recently completed project.

We kept the overall palette light and calm, bringing interest through layers of different textures and materials.
The bespoke joinery became a key part of the room, adding practical storage while giving the space structure and character.

There are lots of details from this project I’m looking forward to sharing over the next few weeks — but for now, here’s the finished living room.

The way you lay your flooring can completely change how a room feels.

Straight plank, herringbone, chevron — even with the same timber, each layout creates a very different look and sense of movement within a space.

There isn’t one that works best for every project. I always consider the proportions of the room, the direction you enter and move through it, and how the flooring will work with the wider layout before deciding on a pattern.

The final layer.

There are a few things I always think about when it comes to styling the shelves. I tend to group objects in threes (or other odd numbers), playing with different heights to create a loose triangle rather than keeping everything on the same level.

Then it’s about the mix — different materials, shapes and textures, balanced with enough empty space to let each piece breathe.

You don’t need lots of accessories. Just the right mix, placed with a little intention.

Same material. Completely different effect.

When choosing tiles, we often focus on colour and pattern — but the finish can have just as much impact on the finished space.

Matt, polished and textured surfaces all interact with light differently, changing how we perceive colour, depth and texture throughout the day.

In this recently completed bathroom, we used a combination of all three — each chosen intentionally for where and how it would be used.

It’s these subtle decisions that bring depth to a scheme, even when working with a restrained material palette.

Natural stone really is a piece of art. No two slabs are ever quite the same — the movement, colour and veining all tell their own story.

And sometimes, you simply have to see it in person to know which one is right.

Two favourites from the stone yard at the moment: Avocado Green and Cipollino Rosso.

Choosing stone can feel overwhelming, but it’s also one of the most exciting parts of a project — and we’re here to guide our clients through it, from finding the right slab to making sure it works beautifully within the wider design.

Sharing a little behind the scenes of an Easter tradition I’ve carried with me since childhood…

This one really comes with years of practice ✍️

I love this ritual. 🤍 It’s fun, it lets me express my creativity in a completely different way… but it’s also so meditative — easily my favourite part of Easter.

Mum takes care of mixing the perfect dyes, while I get lost in the process of decorating.

In Lithuania, we decorate real eggs for Easter — but not everyone does it the same way.
Ours has always been with bee wax… passed down through generations.

10 Obsessions
…a little more on the personal side…

NATURE. My therapy.

WALKS. ..with my family, ideally somewhere in the woods. Didn’t really enjoy them pre-Covid 😅 now it’s part of the routine 🍃

VELVETS. There’s just something about that texture… especially in moody burnt oranges, deep greens, burgundy tones 💭

TRAVEL. Exploring new places and cultures always inspires me. Not doing it as much lately, but I know we’ll get back to it — priorities shift.

CATS. A true cat person. Even tried having a dog… just to confirm it 😅 but honestly, love all animals. Especially fluffy ones 🐼🐈‍⬛🦙🐰

ATMOSPHERIC LIGHTING. It’s everything. A good design only works with good lighting — full stop ✋
(and anything above 4000k is offensive… designers will get it 😅)

ROAD TRIPS. My favourite way to travel. Did a 3500-mile USA trip — still one of the best experiences 💭🚗

MY BOY 🧒🏻🤍♾️

MOUNTAINs. Any kind. There’s just something about them 🏔️

CROSSANT🥐. no explanation needed 🫣🤤
