The flowers set the scene, but the guests brought the character, creating a courtyard with serious personality for this welcome dinner in Provence.

Green & white doesn’t have to mean simple.

In fact, some of the most nuanced palettes we work with are the ones with the fewest colours.

The interest comes from tonality — moving through chalky whites, soft ivories and warm creams, against layers of green that shift from fresh and delicate to deep and grounding.

Then comes texture. Different leaf shapes. Tiny flowers against generous blooms. Softness against structure. Wispy movement, trailing foliage and moments that are allowed to feel a little wild.

When the colour palette is restrained, every other design decision becomes more important.

For this wedding we wanted green and white to feel abundant, romantic and full of depth — never flat, never overly manicured, and certainly never boring.

Because a palette doesn’t need more colours to have more character.

Our client shared a single reference: a spectacular floral installation from a Vogue-featured wedding in the South of France.

But the goal was never to recreate it.

It was to capture the feeling.

We translated that inspiration into a design that belonged to this neoclassical Georgian property, composing the florals in response to its architecture, proportions and setting and the favourite floral style of the bride.

Inspired by the South of France.
Designed for this place.
Created for this couple.
