On this new install I couldn’t settle for splits across this reception as the previous one and played ghosts under the 8m drop to have a nice long strip instead of multiple cuts. Great product to work with, Tarkett Primo and laid on a great temperature.

This is how it behaves on an actual flooring job.

Testing how close the 7” Eibenstock EBS 180 H grinder can actually get to the wall using two different grinding discs on flooring adhesive residues.

• Standard diamond cup wheel = flush edge grinding
• PCD disc = stops around 7mm from the wall

That tiny gap matters more than people think when you’re preparing subfloors for vinyl flooring, LVT, or resin systems.
The right setup changes the finish, the speed, and sometimes whether you need a second tool at all.
