Flowering at beautiful Belcombe for a dream pair earlier this month with wonderful Attabara Studio | UK Wedding Planner 🤍

A personal one ~

So far this year we have been lucky enough to deliver a royal wedding, two RHS projects and over a dozen bespoke, highly personal wedding and event commissions for clients up and down the country. It has been the hottest (no surprises there!), most intense, inspiring and rewarding season imaginable, but the reality of running the MRF show with the team in the way that I do, means that I very rarely get to personally make anything on-site these days. I can count on one hand the number of flowery creations I have actually made myself this season, which is the way it should be now because my team are the best in the business and their talents for making beautiful flowers - both on an enormous and an intricate, detailed scale - week after week is otherworldly 🤍

We have downed official work tools for a couple of weeks as we start to get ready for an extremely busy and exciting upcoming few months - but not before delivering the mother of all commissions this weekend! Never mind the aforementioned projects that have shaped our year so far - today was the annual “Notgrove Parish Show” with extremely high stakes for our family entries!

It has been pure joy to watch Kit create his “miniature garden” entry as well as to have had a moment to make my own creation, entered for the “floral arrangement” category. Particular thanks to dear Imogen Saltbox&Co for letting us loose in the field to gather our ingredients - it has been such a special Summer holiday project to do with my eldest boy 🫶🏻 Of course it’s the taking part that counts, but winning first prize in both classes as well as taking home the cup for the “best family effort” is just the icing on the cake! A very happy day ✨

Some weddings stay with you long after the day itself. And this magical day, a year go this weekend is one of those very special occasions. Planned to perfection by Katie Tottenham Events ~ it was the biggest celebration of this dream pair and so much fun! I have loved reliving the day through British Vogue and delving into Arnott & Arnott | Luxury wedding, event & portrait photography’s incredible photographs once again. Happy Anniversary H&C, and to your newest little addition 🫶🏻 Very excited to see you all later this season for the next family celebration 🙏🏻 x

One whole year ago today! Wishing the happiest first anniversary to this beautiful couple and remembering this magical wedding so very fondly Katrina Otter Weddings | Wedding Planner UK 🤍

I’ve lost count of the number of times that this project has been referenced to me over the past twelve months. The scale of the displays, the abundance of the florals but also the attention to detail. The soft, gentle colour palette adding to the striking, enveloping nature of the overall design meant that what was created for S&H across their entire wedding was both original, and completely timeless.

Having the opportunity to work with Kat on this project was truly a once in a lifetime experience. Many, many hours were spent working together behind the scenes - finessing the designs to ensure every element was the best it could possibly be and I’m so proud of what we made Katrina Otter Weddings | Wedding Planner UK 🤍 It has been such a pleasure to relive the day through Holly Clark Photography’s beautiful gallery ~ a collection of the most amazing photos 🤍

Nearly a week on, reflecting on an unforgettable weekend in the Kent countryside for H&C and their lovely families. Layer upon layer of summery floral bounty ~ textured, elegant, abundant yet considered and woven together to make something really beautiful. Flowers in the church to give guests the idea that they were sitting in a garden that had always been there. We love transforming spaces and we love making beautiful things! Thank you Hannah Fleming for your trust, it has been such a pleasure to work with you 🤍

Finally a moment to sink into David Jenkins Photography beautiful preview gallery of imagery from a recent project with wonderful ✨

An English garden wedding set across a sunny June weekend in the most bucolic setting. From tables awash with seasonal blooms in pastel hues, to an immersive outdoor ceremony purposefully designed to be sympathetic to the landscape and incredible lake views. An ancient church doorway adorned with a sprawling archway of flowers and giant hanging floral chandeliers in the most elegant tent imaginable. Every single element was designed, considered and produced alongside the most stellar team.

A complete pleasure of a weekend. Thank you Katie for trusting us with your vision ✨

Flowering in a bucket list church close to home for the kindest pair and family this weekend. Scene setting with my incredible team in the Surrey sunshine this weekend. Bringing the outside - inside, we wrapped the walls and ceiling of the tent in seasonal greenery to create a backdrop reminiscent of the surrounding gardens. Dainty glassware with blooms scattered along the tables below with flickering candlelight. Working alongside a fabulous team to bring it all together ✨
