Such fun staying in a Living Wunderkammer in Basel for Richard’s Grand Birthday Tour. Imagine the home of an art and antiques collector, carved out of the space of a former cinema but designed as if a grand Schloss. It’s the handiwork of Andreas Haerner and is completely unlike anywhere you’ve ever stayed. My snaps don’t really do it justice. You’ll either have to visit or buy the book (or both, in our case!)
