Biedermeier-Style Bed Designed by Rupert Cavendish .

The bed frame takes its inspiration from a seashell motif, while four deep blue spherical finials suggest planets within a small universe, bringing colour, character and an unexpected celestial touch to the design.

Elegant four-poster frame is crafted in warm blonde birchwood and complemented by an Italian Empire Silk Bedspread.

Swedish Art Deco–Biedermeier Revival Bookcase Cabinet, c.1930

Crafted in beautifully figured flame birch, this Swedish cabinet brings together the warmth and symmetry of Biedermeier with the cleaner geometric character of Art Deco and Swedish Grace.

The distinctive oval-glazed centre, tapered legs and carefully matched veneers give the piece a wonderful architectural quality, while the richly figured birch remains the main focus.

A beautiful example of the lasting influence of Biedermeier on early 20th-century European design.
