‘Morning Haar’

A semi-abstract acrylic painting capturing the mood, light and colours of a misty coastal scene.

Here, in the North East of Scotland we are used to watching the damp fog roll in from the North Sea.

Known locally as the ‘haar’, the soft veil blurs the lines between sea, sky and shore and brings with it an air of mystery and anticipation as it drifts across the coastline.

Canvas is approx 90cm x 60cm.
