The Old Maltings Antique Centre. Vintage, antique and contemporary furniture. The Old Maltings Antique Centre has everything from Ancient Chinese pottery to rugs and furniture of all ages.

Collectables, Jewellery, Purses, Homewares, Art, Memorabilia, Militaria, vintage toys, watches, books, lighting, and curios. Vintage clothing, model railways and militaria too as well as memorabilia. Nice to visit. The centre is on Aswell Street in Louth Lincolnshire LN11 9HP and there are three car parks very close by, a customer toilet and disabled access to the ground floor. Children and well behaved dogs are welcome too!

Roadworks gone! After 4 weeks, the Roadworks on Aswell street Louth are complete. Well done Cadent! If only they were tasked to restore Cooperation bridge in Grimsby. It’s been two years now and still no end in sight.

This wonderfully characterful Georgian oak bureau is still available on BIBS Bay, downstairs, first on the left up the ramp at The Maltings, and we’re genuinely surprised — because he’s one of those pieces you can’t help but stop and touch.

The Green Man carving on the fall front is incredibly tactile — he has one of those faces you just want to reach out and stroke — and the whole piece is full of gorgeous detail, from the deep foliate carving to the lion-head ring handles and fitted interior with pigeonholes and drawers.

It’s even got a secret drawer!

He’s handsome, useful, beautifully worn and absolutely packed with personality.

If you want to stage your own version of Treasure Island, then look no further because we have the original Dead Man’s Chest. And is that Nelson’s telescope? Typical of the chance finds you will discover at The Old Maltings. And just look at that room full of delightful objects- is that the horn of plenty I see there? Or what about a delicate Chinese vase, a colourful bulldog, or a classic traditional bicycle with a basket for your eggs? See pagasus, the winged horse. And, of course, those beautiful colourful gloves for winter – speaking of which a sled for snow when it eventually comes. But there is more, much more, so come and look.
