I’m really excited to be participating in the Christmas Tree festival this year, along with so many other great local businesses and organisations 🎄🧶❤️

The Festival is held at St Dionysius’ Church from Friday 27th November to Tuesday 1st of December. And as well as Christmas Trees, there will be live music, a children’s detective trail and a Christmas LEGO display… and what’s more, HAB Anti-Bullying and Mental Health is the charity partner for the event this year so you can get into the Christmas spirit and support great causes at the same time ❤️

🧶🎄 Festival Friends: Wool Zone

There’s a creative new addition to this year’s Christmas Tree Festival: Wool Zone, Market Harborough’s specialist knitting and crochet shop!

Owner Haylea offers a lovely range of yarns, patterns, kits, needles and accessories, as well as advice and inspiration for everyone from beginners to experienced crafters.

Based at The Old Fire Station in Abbey Street, Wool Zone is a great local resource for anyone who enjoys making things with wool.

We’re looking forward to seeing what Haylea comes up with for her first tree in our Winter Wonderland at St Dionysius Church! 🎄🧶

Happy Monday! This week’s Monday Make is by Sam. This is her first completed project after not picking up needles in over 30 years.

A simple garter stitch scarf made in Stylecraft Softie chunky yarn … and there was a little left over for a little blanket for Jim the bear ❤️

🗓️ New date!!!
Thursday 12th November

After a sell out Yarndale for Nish 🎉 we’ve rescheduled the Fizz & Fibre event that was due to take place this evening.

Everyone who bought tickets for tonight has been contacted, and there are still a few tickets left for the new date.

If you fancy an evening of browsing Nish’s gorgeous yarns and being inspired by her garment samples with a glass of fizz in hand, then either hop online or pop into the shop to secure your slot.

Tickets are £5 and if you spend over £40 on the night your ticket cost will be deducted from your purchase.
