I love dried honesty! 🥰 I find peeling off the outside of the seed heads incredibly therapeutic but it is time consuming!

Look how much I have to do! It’s going to take some time 😅

But it’s great to use in dried arrangements and wreaths.

Finished product coming soon…. Well as soon I’ve finished all that peeling! ☺️

Delivery of dried flowers to 𝓙𝓸𝓲𝓷 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓡𝓮𝓫𝓮𝓵𝓵𝓲𝓸𝓷 cafe today. Go take a look, have a coffee and pick a mini dried bunch, wreath or dogwood heart.

Then onto Oakhill where it was such a lovely day for some gardening. Conkers in abundance today!

Autumnal wreaths 🍁🍂 are well and truly under way. Lots of dried flowers stored and dried from earlier in the year.

Did you know all my bouquets contain only British grown flowers? My usual wholesale flower farmers are only up to 10 miles from Midsomer Norton. When necessary I use Cornish wholesalers.

I even use flowers grown right here in Midsomer Norton, grown by me in my little cutting patch.

So that means no nasty pesticides or chemicals that are generally used to prolong the life of imported flowers that fly hundreds or thousands of miles.

There was lots happening last week!

Lots of gorgeous locally grown flowers were supplied, which made their way to 𝓙𝓸𝓲𝓷 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓡𝓮𝓫𝓮𝓵𝓵𝓲𝓸𝓷 cafe, were used to create wedding arrangements and adorned my stall at Midsomer Norton Farmers’ Market. I maintained many gardens (I’m not just a florist you know!😊) and attended a bridal wear shop launch. 😅

You can find me and my flowers at a number of places this week.

Find my seasonal bunches all week 𝓙𝓸𝓲𝓷 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓡𝓮𝓫𝓮𝓵𝓵𝓲𝓸𝓷 cafe.

I will have my regular stall at Midsomer Norton Somerset Farmers Markets this Saturday, 3 October 9am-1pm, where I will have fresh seasonal bunches, dried flowers and autumn wreaths.

I will also be attending The Orchard Bridal Co. opening evening 6pm-9pm this Thursday 1 October, No. 2 High Street, Midsomer Norton. So if you’re getting married come have a look at the new shop that will be supplying pre-loved bridal wear. I will have a selection of arrangements to view and will be able to chat about your floral requirements.
