💕 Honestly, I have the most beautiful customers! 💕

I’m feeling very grateful today after being gifted these absolutely gorgeous handmade cookies, lovingly made by Holly, one of my lovely customers. 🥹🍪💗 Just look at them! How talented is she?!

It’s moments like these that remind me that For The Love of Wool is so much more than just a wool shop. 🧶❤️

When I opened the doors, I wanted to create a little space where people could come together over a shared love of knitting and crochet, learn something new, share their projects, have a good old natter, laugh, support one another and just take a little time out from the busyness of everyday life.

And do you know what? The community that has grown around this little shop means more to me than I could ever put into words. 🥰

From the friendships made around the table, the projects shared, the encouragement when someone is struggling with a tricky stitch, to the unexpected little acts of kindness like this… it really is something special.

I might be the one who owns the shop, but you lovely lot give it its heart. 💕

So a HUGE thank you to Holly for these beautiful handmade treats, and to every single one of you who walks through my door, supports my little independent business, comes along to a class, joins in with our socials or simply pops in for a chat.

You are the reason this little woolly community is what it is, and I feel incredibly lucky to be part of it. 🧶💗

Now, the only question is… do I eat these gorgeous cookies or admire them for a little longer?! 😂🍪

I’ve tried and tried to capture just how beautiful the sparkle is in this new Alpaca Stardust, but honestly, these pictures and videos just don’t do it justice! 😍

A gorgeous combination of baby alpaca and merino wool, the best of the best, and it really does show! 🧶✨

Lynn popped into the shop last week wearing this gorgeous crochet top that she made herself at one of our Crochet Along workshops… and honestly, how fantastic does she look?! 😍❤️

There’s something so special about seeing what you lovely lot create with your own hands. From that first stitch to wearing something you’ve made yourself, the pride (and the smiles!) make it all worthwhile. 🥰

And that’s what our crochet lessons and Crochet Along workshops are all about. It’s not just about learning a new skill or making something beautiful… it’s about having a cuppa, sharing a laugh, making friends, taking a little time for yourself and finding that lovely bit of calm in a busy world. 🧶💕
