✨ MAY UPDATE ✨

What a month it’s been at For The Love of Wool! Here’s a little look at what we’ve been up to…

🧶 We visited Buxton Wool Gathering and had the chance to meet some of our wonderful suppliers face-to-face.

🧼 We restocked some of your favourites, including yarn foods, wool washes and blocking sprays.

🩷 We received two orders for our handmade Extreme Boxy Finger Knit Cardigans – thank you for supporting handmade!

🌟 We became your new local stockist for Rowan Yarns, bringing even more beautiful yarn choices to the shop.

👶 Our baby yarn range continues to grow, with soft and practical options perfect for little ones.

📱 A huge thank you to Victoria at VHS Social Media for her ongoing support and encouragement.

🎙️ And to top it all off, I was invited onto BBC Radio Stoke to share my story and talk all things woolly with the local community.

Well, this is a bit exciting! 😊

Tomorrow I’ll be on BBC Radio Stoke at lunchtime talking all things For The Love of Wool after they got in touch wanting to share my story with the local community.

If you’d told me a few years ago that I’d be talking about my little wool shop on the radio, I’d never have believed you!

☀️ Making the most of the last couple of days here at and putting the finishing touches to my crochet skirt.

I’m using Stories, a beautifully soft and versatile cotton yarn that’s been a dream to work with in the sunshine. It comes in a gorgeous range of colours and is perfect for all your summer makes, from garments and accessories to holiday projects like this one.

There’s something so satisfying about sitting poolside with a hook in hand and watching a project come together. 🧶💛
