Apologies ladies. We had an amazing morning on Saturday with our Glass Fusion class. The wonderful Sally from Sandy Glass Studios inspired and instructed us with our Easter makes.
I think you will agree they are super cute.

Watch this space for more sessions, plenty of ideas for future classes were bouncing around the room, I can’t wait!

So during last weeks sewing machine lesson we learnt how to make a lined denim zipper pouch. The concentration was on another level, I had to play music and sing to break the silence!!!! The finished pouches were used as Mother’s Day gifts, hence the delay in posting. I’m super proud how skilled we are becoming. Excellent work again this week.

So we’ve been quiet on here as the classes we have held over the last couple of weeks have had to be kept a secret. We have been making Mother’s Day gifts that have had to stay under wraps.

Here are some pictures of the work done with our children’s Mother’s Day Makes. We learnt some new embroidery stitches, decorated our hearts, filled them with lavender, made a card and then attached our gift to form part of the card. Excellent work all round!

Over Easter we are aiming to develop a children’s workshop section of the website, so it will be easier to navigate. Watch this space.
