Along side doing our own renovations I’ve also completely redesigned my parents bungalow, flipped the house from front to back by adding a large kitchen dining extension at the back.
Unfortunately it is now up forsale with Leightons Estate Agency (credit to them for the amazing after shots)
It’s been an incredibly tough year. Which I won’t get into as it’s not my story to tell.
I’m incredibly proud of what we all achieved here, most of the work has been done by us, family & friends. It really has made into a super home.
The before, I know they don’t look much different apart from new windows and the render. But the main of the work is out the back.
The small bedroom / dining room. These 60s bungalows were built with the strangest layout. The kitchens were at the front and the bedrooms were over looking the garden.
The little bedroom became the entrance and bootility meaning the old entrance could become and en-suite.
Ikea pax hack became extra storage and boot room, with the washer & dryer opposite.
The old kitchen. This to me was the biggest transformation! See it now ➡️
The Guest bedroom & En-suite. The panelling is Little Greene French gray
The cute little walk in shower en-suite was made from the hallway cupboard and entrance way.
The old living room. Perfectly preserved 60s style
After, now the master bedroom. With large dressing area!!

Now the living room, this room we surprised them whilst they were away from their anniversary. We got the media wall built by a professional and I ended up pulling it apart as it was all built wrong!! So Matthew and Liam ended up rebuilding it. Anyway, you live and learn!
The back garden, (still there but only half) swipe to see what in its place.
A brand new kitchen diner extension. I designed this kitchen when I worked for a bespoke kitchen shop. It turned out to be such a gorgeous bright space.
It’s the perfect entertaining space with a view over the garden like it was always meant to be 👌
If anyone had followed me for a while I’m sure you’ll have spotted the likeness to the first renovat
