Join us for The Makers Edit: Christmas Edition – a relaxed evening of shopping, drinks and discovery, celebrating some brilliant independent women makers from Ripon and the surrounding area.
The Makers Edit isn’t a traditional market. Instead, we’re taking over the cosy upstairs of The Portly Pig and creating a boutique-style shopping evening where you can wander, browse, have a drink and discover something a little different.
Throughout the space you’ll find products designed, made and created by local women – from established small businesses to emerging makers and women taking their first steps into selling what they create.
You’ll be able to meet the women behind the products, hear a little about what they do and shop directly from them.
With Christmas just around the corner, it’s the perfect excuse to grab a friend, have a drink and get a head start on your festive shopping. Find a thoughtful present you won’t see everywhere else, discover a new local maker to love or simply end up treating yourself. We fully support all three!
There’ll be nibbles to enjoy throughout the evening and the bar will be open if you fancy a glass of something while you shop.
Come on your own, bring a friend or gather a few of you together and make an evening of it.
