Today has been a busy day.. building props for our Halloween decorations in the morning, and then trialling more recipes for my Halloween bake in the afternoon! Today I have made 2 batches of banana bread, chocolate chip shortbread and vanilla cupcakes. This is all preparation for my Trick or Treaters. I am determined to make perfect cupcakes for them all! This week I will bake 100 to make sure there is plenty to go around! And also 10 free from bakes to make sure no one misses out! I love Halloween!!! A perfect day all around !!! 🫶😋🥰😘🎃🍞🍪🥠🧁

Tonight we wanted a Mediterranean meal which was packed with flavour and low on preparation time, so we marinated Tuna steak with lime, garlic and coriander and paired it with roasted courgette, pepper, tomato and leeks seasoned with Italian seasoning drizzled with truffle glaze and served it with a sweet potato, butternut squash rosti with a basil melt. I also made a truffle mayonnaise to serve on the side. This was absolutely delicious and a really nice pairing. Perfect for a lazy Saturday evening! 🫶🤗😘🥰😋

Today I have made a beef wellington for our good friend. She has always dreamed of having this so I decided to make her dreams come true! What better way to show how much you appreciate a friendship than with food of love !!!! 🥩🥧🥰🫶😘🤗😋🙏

When you have a friend staying for a few days and you can’t decide what to serve for breakfast… just get it all out !!! Hahahah ! Healthy, delicious and a great way to start the day. Fresh baked bread, porridge and strawberries!

Today we had a friend travel up to spend a few days with us, so I have welcomed her with a traditional Victoria sponge and home made chocolate chip shortbread! Perfect over a cup of tea putting the world to rights! 🍰🥰😘🤗😋🫶🍪

Tonight I wanted a quick meal to enjoy with friends, something very tasty and interactive, so I have made a chilli con carne served with home made paprika nachos! Delicious !!! 🤤 😜🫶

Today has been tiring.. a busy day at work, and then baking a lovely cake for a friend after work, so I wanted an easy meal which I can pop in the oven and leave while I have a cup of tea… so a lemon chicken Mediterranean tray bake was called for. This is packed full of flavour.. potatoes, rosemary, garlic, olives, capers, lemon and honey combine perfectly with this seasoned chicken. I then drizzled this with a truffle glaze to finish it off! Absolutely delicious 😋🥰😘🍴🙏!

Tonight we wanted to try something different, so I have made a pork, courgette and butternut squash tagine. I served this with a slice of pumpkin seed bread. This was so tasty and we will definitely be having this again! So easy and I loved using my traditional tagine to cook it! 😘🤗❤️😋🫶🥰🍴

Tonight we fancied something which had loads of flavour but not a lot of hassle, so I have chosen Caponata Pasta, roasted aubergine, courgette and tomatoes served with onion, garlic, olives, capers and pine nuts, and pancetta mixed with pasta and grated cheese. We also made home made wholemeal garlic bread. Delicious and just what was needed after a rather hectic day at work ! 😘🥰🫶😋
