Argent and Sable are makers of vintage fairground inspired signs. The eclectic and nostalgic signs are made using reclaimed materials and authentic fairground cabochon lighting. Taking inspiration from the victorian fairground, cabaret, music and the spoken word, Argent and Sable successfully and uniquely bring eclectic frivolity to your home. Each sign is hand painted and individually made in the Argent and Sable workshop.

There’s one space left on today’s 1:30 workshop Jarrolds Letheringsett Arts and Crafts fair run by. North Norfolk Arts & Crafts

Yesterdays workshop was wonderful, a super bunch of ladies, enjoying being creative together in the beautiful courtyard garden.

My decorated painted furniture sits alongside Jody - do come along and have a browse.

Come and join me at for the North Norfolk Arts and Crafts fair. Where I will be holding decorative folk art workshops over the weekend on the 15th & 16th of August.

Sessions are for 2 hours and are at 10:30 and 1:30 and last approximately 2 hrs. It’s a really lovely way to spend a couple of hours and you’ll leave with your very own decorative panel, created using traditional stencils and mark making with my extensive Annie Sloan paint collection.
No experience necessary- just the joy of being creative 😊

Have you been looking for something lovely to do next weekend?

Perhaps you’re longing for a couple of hours to slow down, switch off and lose yourself in making something beautiful.

I’d love to invite you to join me at my Decorative Folk Art Workshop at The North Norfolk Arts and Crafts Fair held at Jarrold’s Letheringsett, Ne Holt, on Saturday 15th & Sunday 16th August.

Over two relaxed hours, I’ll guide you through painting your own decorative folk art panel. All materials are provided, there’s no experience necessary, and you’ll leave with a beautiful piece to take home.

Spend a little time surrounded by beautiful things, in a beautiful setting, and enjoy the simple pleasure of creating.

You’re invited to join me at the Jarrolds Letheringsett Arts & Crafts Fair on 15th & 16th August.

I’ll be bringing my decorative folk art workshops to this beautiful setting, where you’ll create your own painted panel using traditional stencils, before adding simple hand-painted details to make it uniquely yours.

We’ll be taking inspiration from the wonderfully decorative antique Indian furniture being exhibited by my lovely friend Jody , making it the perfect setting to immerse yourself in colour, pattern and creativity.

Workshops take place at 10.30am and 1.30pm each day and last approximately 2 hours.

✨ Booking is recommended, as places are limited.

Alongside the workshops, I’ll also have a collection of my original folk art, fine art prints, greetings cards and a selection of beautifully curated pieces available to purchase throughout the weekend.

Looking for a creative afternoon? Fancy taking a little time out for yourself and spending the day with like-minded people?

I’d love to welcome you to my Vintage Sign Painting Workshop on Thursday 16th July, 10am–3pm, at Walrus Studios, Earsham Hall.

You’ll choose a word that resonates with you and create your own beautifully hand-painted vintage-style sign to take home and treasure. No experience is needed—I’ll guide you through every step.

Last weekend, I teamed up with the wonderful Jody Ellen Textiles, and together we created something that felt rather special.

A room filled with beautiful antique furniture, colourful textiles, vintage treasures, creativity, conversation… and people happily losing themselves in paint for a couple of hours.

The response completely took us by surprise, it felt delicious 🥰

So we’re doing it again- cause why the hell not!!

Join us this Sunday at The Old Piano Shop for a relaxed afternoon where you can browse Jody’s stunning pop-up interiors collection and create your own decorative wooden panel using stencils and inspired by the beautiful painted motifs found on antique Indian furniture.

No experience is needed—just a willingness to slow down, have a play with my Annie Sloan paints and enjoy being surrounded by beautiful things.

Browse the pop-up shop (open 12–5pm – no booking needed)

Painting sessions run between 12–3pm (booking recommended)

And if you fancy it, you can pop over to our lovely neighbours at The Bicycle Shop and get a wine or cocktail while you paint, browse… or both.

This feels like the beginning of something really exciting, and I’d absolutely love you to be part of it.
