Argent and Sable are makers of vintage fairground inspired signs. The eclectic and nostalgic signs are made using reclaimed materials and authentic fairground cabochon lighting. Taking inspiration from the victorian fairground, cabaret, music and the spoken word, Argent and Sable successfully and uniquely bring eclectic frivolity to your home. Each sign is hand painted and individually made in the Argent and Sable workshop.

✨Fabulous, unique artwork!!! I love this custom-made sign with all the red circus lights!✨P thielemann - Berlin

This beauty flew over to Berlin to a very happy customer and is hanging with pride of place in this beautifully panelled room.

I am totally gutted though as I got no process photos and seriously I went to town on this one, with beautiful gold paint crackling through the black background, a gold a red framed aged so beautifully- Dusty said it was my best one yet!!
Don’t ask why I have no photos- long story!
Anyhow the client was overjoyed , it arrived safe and well - always a worry and I have this fabulous picture from her showing it in its new home ✨✨

Each sign is completely unique and painted onto reclaimed wood using beautiful Annie Sloan Chalk Paint®, giving it a wonderfully timeworn vintage feel.

Held at the beautiful The Old Piano Shop in the heart of Norwich Lanes, it’s the perfect setting to relax, unwind and create something meaningful that you can take home and enjoy.

No experience necessary — full guidance provided.

It’s always a good idea to make a sign, especially such a fabulously unique one with a word that means something to you!

If you’ve been thinking of signing up but haven’t got round to it then this is your ‘sign’ to do so. I’ve had some really lovely reviews, swipe along to read.

My next workshop is on June 7th 12-5 and is held at the remarkably lovely where the fabulous staff at provide us with tea and coffee and that my lovelies is a recipe for a fantastic afternoon spent painting and creating along to some cool tunes in brilliant company.
