On our last day as a bricks and mortar shop, we would like to thank all our customers who over the last 8 years have made it an absolute pleasure to have run our business.

Going forward we will be transitioning to being solely online, selling craft books, needles, hooks and notions on our existing website.

We are a small independent local yarn/wool shop on the edge of Dartmoor, in Okehampton Devon. We stock Adriafil, King Cole, Woolcraft, West Yorkshire Spinners (WYS) and Regia.

It is with regret that we are announcing the shop will be close at the end of October 2026.
Over the next few weeks we will be clearing out all of our yarn at 25% off and we will have a few baskets of odd balls that will be individual priced.

We are celebrating 8 years of the shop in Okehampton and would like to show our appreciation to all our customers and friends who have supported us during this time.

We thought about an 8% discount to coincide with the years, but thought that sounded silly so settled on a 20% discount on everything in the shop this week. The discount applies to in-store purchases only, so please pop in and say hello.

AI FAIL

We were so disappointed yesterday when we tried to photograph our St George's day window. We thought it wasn't worth posting, but with a little hindsight and a lot of amusement we will share . Unfortunately, the reflection in the window obscured most of the display, so being a little frustrated decided to run it through an AI programme to see if it could be cleaned up. The answer is that it worked and from now on we will be telling the story of St George and the fire breathing Octopus, 🤣🤣🤣
