The Horbury Art Walk launches tomorrow!!

Come along to the Centre between 3pm and 5pm for drinks and nibbles and glorious art, including pieces created by children during our summer sessions.

Pick up a map and then visit the other fabulous venues on the trail!

Gillian Richardson will be exhibiting her glorious art on the third floor at Westgate Art Studios Wakefield this month. 'sArt, Studio C6

"I am a largely self taught embroiderer and textile artist working in . Growing up left handed in the 1960s, there was very little understanding and support within schools and I was led to believe I would never be able to sew. I was an adult before I realised this wasn't true! I always had a passion for colour and texture and an evening class in felt making really set me on the road to working with textiles. I have recently completed a City & Guilds Level 3 in Hand Embroidery. My exhibition will show pieces that I submitted for my course showing a range of techniques, plus some work before and after this."

Whether you are exhibiting artwork, hosting live music, running a workshop, or opening studio doors, get your details in so we can include you in our event listings and promotional map!

Venues: If you are an artist planning to take part and already have a specific venue in mind, please arrange your space directly with the venue before submitting your details.
